WACKER GP is a one-part, acetoxy silicone sealant for many applications. it cures at room temperature in the presence of atmospheric moisture to give a permanent flexible silicone rubber. 
WACKER® GP – GENERAL PURPOSE exhibits excellent primerless adhesion to most non-porous siliceous materials (e.g. glass, tiles, ceramics, enamel, glazed tiles); impregnated, varnished or painted wood and some plastics. Users must carry out own tests due to the great variety of substrates. The adhesion can be improved in many cases by pretreatment of the substrate with a primer.

Dow DOWSIL™ 736 Heat Resistant Sealant is a one component, non-slumping, Red adhesive/sealant for temperatures up to 600F/315C.

This silicone product is formulated to perform at temperatures ranging from -65 to 260°C (-85 to 500°F) for continuous operation and to 315°C (600°F) for intermittent exposure. It can be used for numerous sealing and bonding applications. 

It is recommended for industrial ovens, aerospace, gasketing, moving oven belts, and appliances. It cures at room temperature when exposed to moisture. 300 mL Cartridge.

GE 2000 is a fast curing, one part silicone adhesive sealant that cures to silicone rubber when exposed to atmospheric moisture at room temperature to form a high strength rubber seal with excellent adhesion to glass, glazed surfaces, metals, most plastics and painted / coated surfaces. HOW TO USE

Substrate preparation All surfaces must be clean and dry. Degrease and wash off any contaminants that could impair adhesion. Suitable solvents include isopropyl alcohol, acetone or methyl ethyl ketone.

Unprimed adhesion may be obtained on many substrates such as glass, metals and most common engineering plastics. Substrates to which good Adhesion is normally not obtained include PTFE, polyethylene, polypropylene and related materials.

However, for maximum adhesion, the use of DOWSIL 1200 OS Primer is recommended. After solvent cleaning, a thin coat of DOWSIL 1200 OS Primer is applied by dipping, brushing or spraying. Allow primer to dry for 15 to 90 minutes at room temperature and a relative humidity of 50% or higher.

HOW TO APPLY

Apply DOWSIL 732 Multi-Purpose Sealant to one of the prepared surfaces, then quickly cover with the other substrate to be bonded.

On exposure to moisture, the freshly applied material will "skin-over". Any tooling should be completed before this skin forms. The surface is easily tooled with a spatula. The adhesive/sealant will be tack-free in less than 45 minutes.

CURE TIME

After skin formation, cure continues inward from the surface. In 24 hours (at room temperature and 50% relative humidity) DOWSIL 732 Multi-Purpose Sealant will cure to a depth of about 3 mm. Very deep sections, especially when access to atmospheric moisture is restricted will take longer to cure completely. Cure time is extended at lower humidity levels.

Before handling and packaging bonded components, users are advised to wait a sufficiently long time to ensure that the integrity of the adhesive seal is not affected. This will depend on many factors and should be determined by the user for each specific application.

DOWSIL 734 Flowable Sealant is a solventless silicone elastomer for general sealing and bonding applications. 734 is a flowable liquid that is easy to use and cures on exposure to moisture in the air. Available in clear or in a range of colours.

HOW TO APPLY

Apply DOWSIL 734 Flowable Sealant to the prepared surfaces in a uniform thickness of 0.25 to 0.75 mm. If the adhesive is to be used to bond two surfaces, apply it only to one surface and allow it to establish a uniform contact before putting the other surface in place. When placing the second, use enough pressure to spread the adhesive and displace any trapped air.

On exposure to moisture, the freshly applied material will "skin-over" in about 7 minutes at room temperature and 50% relative humidity. Any tooling should be completed before this skin forms.
